Acute diarrhoea, especially when the stools are profuse, watery, and often accompanied by stomach cramps. the remedy is particularly helpful when diarrhoea is sudden and watery, with a tendency to worsen during the morning hours. it is also used for gastrointestinal colic and nausea, often when there is a sensation of emptiness in the abdomen. additionally, it can be effective for intestinal infections or conditions involving chronic loose stools.
